dance your dance! – adult movement class with Seal LaMadeleine

four thursdays beginning 1/26/23 through 2/16/23 10:00 am to 11:00 am

Each class is a sliding scale of $0 to $15. (Suggested $10 for those able, to help cover costs.)

Join a class of expressive movement to connect with yourself and others AND HAVE FUN! Class begins with a guided warm-up to follow your own inspiration to move fluidly, growing gradually  into more expansive movement and group connection. Culminating in a fun boogie! Guided imagery, movement suggestions, and beautiful and groovy music will inspire you to move in expressive, playful and healing ways! Move at your own pace, no experience necessary.

Covid protocols: Masks are optional. But, for the protection of our more vulnerable population, please do not attend if you have been exposed to anyone with covid or the flu within a week of class, have cold or flu symptoms, or have been in a high Covid risk environment, like recent air travel. For folks more comfortable using a mask, you are very welcome to do so.

Dance is Seal’s favorite form of expression and she is at her happiest dancing with friends! She loves creating an atmosphere of welcomeness for each person’s expression in movement. Seal has experience facilitating healing creative movement and writing groups  through NELCWIT and  the Survivors Project. She has also facilitated nature classes for students from preschoolers to teens at Deer Paths Nature School at her home in Wendell for 15 years.
